usb dat drive can be install novel 4.2 or not
Dear Gauri,
Due to Novell USB not support by Netware 4.x. Its support in Netware 6.5.
But we are working on your query & I hope so for we get any positive solution.

type
load edit backup.ncf
enter on yes
type
load nwaspi
load nwtape
load tsa410
load sbackup
then press Esc
then save Yes
then Exit from edit menu
then type on console
backup
Now your DAT is working

Solution : First step- Install the lan card in server
Second step - install the lan card driver through--
load install -> Driver Option -> Network driver Option -> Discover & load driver Option
Third step - load & bind rpl through this command
sbi: load rpl
sbi: bind rpl rtssrv_1_e82
start the node
now node running properly
fourth step - Entry the upper command lines in autoexec.ncf file
save the file & reboot the server

Problem: How to Create Dosgen Floppy & Required Files for dosgen ?
Solution : We Create the Dosgen Floppy through these steps
First : Create DOS 6.22 Bootable Floppy From Dos Machine.
Second : Copy these files from NIC Driver floppy or CD
LSL.com
NIC driver.com
NIC driver.ins
NET.cfg
IPXODI
VLM.exe with All*.vlm files
these files from dos machines
ANSI.sys
HIMEM.sys
EMM386.exe
Third Step :
then create config.sys file like
DEVICE=HIMEM.SYS
DEVICE=EMM386.EXE NOEMS HIGHSCAN I=A000-B7FF
BUFFERS=40
FILES=40
DOS=HIGH
DOS=UMB
FCBS=4,0
STACKS=0,0
DEVICEHIGH=ANSI.SYS
LAST DRIVE =Z
Fourth Step :
Create Autoexec.bat Like this
LH LSL
LH NIC DRIVER.COM
LH IPXODI

Fifth Step :
Boot the client with floppy support
& login with admin ID & password
Sixth Step :
now process these step to create the dosgen file like this
f:\>cd login
f:\login> dosgen enter its create default net$dos.sys filr
if u want o create dosge file with another name
f:\login> dosgen filename enter
seven step : enter the mac address in login script for settingup PTN number.
now dosgen porcess complete
remove the floppy from client machine & reboot now it will give u login prompt now u r able to login on server.

password : 123456
after login go to ITS > sysnet and find lots of drivers regarding server & desktop
